GRND

In May of 2019, on a mountain in southern Afghanistan, a vision was born. I was an Army Ranger, part of one of the most elite and lethal fighting forces in the world. After we completed the mission and got back to base, I called one of my boys from back home. I asked him, “What you been up to?” And he said without even thinking—“Bruh, I’m just on the GRND.” A few weeks later, I flew north across Afghanistan. I hit up another one of my closest friends—he was in the league at the time—and I asked him how things were going. His response? “Man, I’m just on the GRND.” Two months after that, I wrapped up the deployment and checked in with one of my college friends, a sharp-minded guy who’d gone on to law school. When I asked him what’s good, he said it too—“Brotha, I’m out here on the GRND.” That word kept showing up. Across war zones, locker rooms, and courtrooms—across purpose and pressure—“GRND” became a bond. So I wrote it down. But at first, it didn’t hit like I thought it would. It said “GRIND.” And something about that didn’t sit right. So I grabbed the eraser, and took out the “I.” The moment I erased me from the center, everything changed. What I saw then was clarity. Truth. Purpose. GRND is bigger than one person. It’s about all of us. It’s about waking up every day with a mission—whether you’re putting on your boots, chasing a dream, raising a family, or building a legacy. We GRND for something greater than ourselves: for our families, our teams, our communities, and our purpose. GRND isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a mindset. An emotion. A movement. We exist to inspire people to give 100%—and then some—in sport, fitness, and life. Whether you’re on the field, in the office, at home, or in the fight, the GRND continues.
